A hotly contested debate over the best breakfast food has finally been resolved at Maury High School, and pancakes are the favorite among Maury’s student body.

Students and staff alike (mostly in Mr. Miller’s class) have engaged in multiple heated debates over food this school year, but the most passionate disagreement over breakfast food has finally been decided.

The Commodore Chronicle conducted two polls asking students and staff alike what they prefer between waffles, pancakes, or French toast.

Pancakes took the lead among students, with 41 percent saying they prefer them over waffles and french toast.

French toast was the staff favorite at 47.5 percent.

Gabriel Hart, freshman, is a dedicated waffle supporter who disagreed with the poll results.

“That’s a fake survey, ” he said. “Waffles will always be better.”
