Boys and girls basketball having a strong February

With two games left in the season, both the girls and boys basketball teams are finishing strong.

With just two games left in the season both the boys and the girls have won four of their last five games in the month of February leading into their last home game.

This month, Maury’s boys basketball team defeated Heritage, Booker T. Washington, Granby, and Lakeland, but lost to Lake Taylor. From late January until now, Maury’s girls basketball team beat Norview, Churchland, Booker T. Washington, and Lake Taylor, losing only to Granby.

Maury’s boys basketball are 16-4 and the girls are 15-3, respectively.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, The Commodores will play against Manor at home for senior night.
