Both of Maury’s basketball teams hosted Senior Night when they played against Manor on Wednesday.

While Maury’s girls lost to Manor on Wednesday, Maury’s boys basketball team won thanks to a strong performance by one of its seniors.

The Lady Commodores lost 45-37, despite 15 points from junior Sarajane Walker.

However, the Maury boys basketball team defeated Manor 65-37 led by senior  Jayvion Green’s 25 points. He made 7 three-pointers, including four in the first quarter.

Maury boys basketball plays its last game of the season on Friday, Feb. 14 against Norcom. It will be the second-to-last game for the girls.
