On October 3, Maury High school defeated Booker T. Washington High school 91-0 at Cal Davidson Field.
Maury won this game by a large margin through their dominant defense and offense.
Maury’s passing attack had another great outing as flourishing star sophomore Dominick Everette recorded seven total touchdowns with five through the air and two on the ground. For the second straight game, backup quarterback sophomore Trequan Duke scored a touchdown on the ground and in the air after entering in the second half.
Maury’s receivers also had a great game with senior Elijah Moss and junior Jahvon Wiggins each catching 2 touchdowns. Senior receiver Damon McDaniel and junior Makai Skinner also scored.

After going up 70-0 in the first half, Maury pounded the rock most of the second half with their rushing game. Junior Tayshawn Branche scored two touchdowns and senior Jaiden Avery scored one.
Maury also had their first punt return touchdown in district play with Elijah Moss running it back 40+ yards.
Maury also had a very strong defense. They effectively stopped the pass the entire game, though Booker T. mainly ran the ball in the second half in an attempt to burn the clock.
Next week, October 10, Maury will take on Norview High school for their third conference game of the year.
