Maury High School wins yet another victory against Lake Taylor on October 6.
The Commodores won with teamwork, strikes on point, and sharp setting.
The first set was 25-9, second 25-13 and third 25-22.
Head Coach Afi Anuar said the biggest factor to winning was, ” trusting yourself and your teammates.’’
Chase Malik(19), the team’s libero, made saves throughout the game.
Sawyer Richards’ serves tripped up Lake Taylor twice throughout the second set.
Johnny March(9) Ace factor made a game-winning point in the first and third set.
Coach Anuar said they were missing two of their starters, so some people had to step up and they responded very well.
The Commodores are now 8-2.
