Maury High School’s boys basketball team lost to Norview on Wednesday.
Despite a strong start, Maury took a 69-45 loss to Norview High School’s basketball team Wednesday night.
Maury started the first half with hot shooting, including two threes in a row by sophomore guard Taberin Hawkins in the first quarter.
Hawkins scored 11 of his team-leading 12 points in the first half.
However, Norview took over in the second half with their size and slashing, especially Keon Mitchell who led all scorers with 23 points.
The Maury boys are now 2-1. They will play against Churchland Dec. 13.
